    Water is not only good for drinking, but it is also suitable for exercising in. When an underwater treadmill is utilized, the health advantages are amplified. What are the benefits of aqua jogging on an underwater treadmill versus running on a regular treadmill?

    When you compare conventional exercise to aqua training bag exercises, you’ll see that aqua training has many advantages. In fact, you receive all of the advantages of jogging on land plus the additional benefits of running on water.

    The Scientific Study On Aqua Running

    Participants who did Resistance Training Plus Underwater Treadmill (ATM) exhibited clear advantages over those who underwent resistance training alone or resistance training plus land treadmill in a research conducted by Texas A&M University (LTM). The ATM group had less pain, inflammation, and body fat, but they also increased muscle growth and strength. In addition, they had lower blood pressure readings than the LTM group as well.

    Another research found significant differences in metabolic expenditure when comparing aquatic treadmills with water jets to land treadmills with inclines. What were the outcomes? You probably guessed it: Runners on water treadmills had more significant metabolic variation than those running on land.

    Does This Mean That Running On Water Burns More Weight Than Running On Land?

    The numbers don’t lie. Water jogging on an underwater treadmill practically pushes you to utilize upper body muscles you wouldn’t usually have to employ while running on land. After all, travelling through the air doesn’t provide much of a challenge.

    According to one study, running along a track or path would burn approximately eight calories every minute. Compared to aqua jogging on an underwater treadmill, the same degree of effort may burn more than 11 calories per minute.
