1. Value the Initial Moments

As soon as the conversation between a patient and a doctor starts, every part of it should be valued and whatever your patient tells you should be paid close attention so that you don’t miss any important detail about the patient. 4. Give Explanations

When you will open up to your patient, this will boost their inner confidence and communication between you two would get better.

5. Treat Them as a Human Being Rather Than Just a Patient

Every patient looks forward to some empathic and hopeful words by the doctors about their condition so, make sure you don’t get so harsh and exaggerate about the treatment or even if the treatment or patient’s condition isn’t too good, make sure you choose the words that do not make the patient feel as if you don’t think of them as human beings. They would want you to be realistic as well as kind and make them feel like they are your loved ones and you would provide them with the same treatment as you would to someone you truly care about.
